Give New Life to Your Old Gold

Nangi drop

Trade in your jewelry – and get the value deducted from your new Nangi piece. Have you inherited a piece that’s not quite your style? An old chain you never wear, or a ring that deserves a second chance to shine? Now you can bring in your old gold to Nangi – and get its value deducted from a new, custom-made piece designed to last a lifetime.

It’s sustainable, meaningful – and beautifully simple.

A Greener, More Personal Way to Wear Jewelry

Gold is a precious resource. Instead of letting old pieces sit forgotten in a drawer, you can give them new life – while enjoying a discount on your next Nangi piece.

Our trusted goldsmiths carefully weigh and assess the quality of the gold you send us. The value is then deducted from the price of your new jewelry – in a way that’s easy, safe and sustainable.

This is a conscious choice for anyone wanting a meaningful new piece – with a history behind it and a future in mind.

Gold - new life

What Type of Gold Can You Trade In?

You can send in:

Rings

Necklaces

Earrings

Pendants

Damaged or unused gold jewelry

All real gold: 14K, 18K, 22K or 24K – no matter the style or age. If you have multiple small pieces, we’ll weigh them together.

Note: At this time, we don’t use your exact gold in the new production. But the full value will be deducted from your new piece – so both your wallet and the planet benefit.

What's The Difference Between White Gold & Platina?

How Much Value Can You Get?

That depends on:

The weight (grams) of the gold

The gold karat

The current market price of gold (updated weekly)

Example: 10 grams of 14K gold can give you a discount worth several thousand NOK on your new jewelry.

How Does It Work?

1. Contact us at contact@nangi.store – we’ll guide you through the process.

2. Send or deliver your gold to us – either in person at our Oslo showroom or by post.

3. Gold is assessed by our goldsmith for weight and value.

Important: Once gold is sent in for evaluation, it is non-returnable.

4. Receive your value estimate, based on the current gold price, minus our competitive 30% commission (this covers evaluation, handling and round-trip shipping – the industry standard is usually around 50%).

5. The value is deducted from your new piece – or you can choose to receive a gift card if you’d rather wait.

Estimated time: 2–3 weeks from the time we receive your gold.

Why Choose Recycled Gold?

You help reduce the need for new mining

You save money by using value you already own

You make a conscious, sustainable investment

You give old jewelry new meaning – in a modern design

At Nangi, we only work with solid 14K and 18K gold – and each piece is crafted with love, longevity and sustainability at its core.

Why Solid Gold is Worth the Investment

What Happens to Your Gold?

All gold is melted down. Recycling precious metals is significantly more sustainable than mining new material, which leaves a much higher carbon footprint. The beauty of gold is that it can be recycled over and over again without losing quality – there’s no limit to how many times it can be reborn.
