What is custom design?

Custom design is not about choosing a ring — it is about creating something that feels unmistakably yours.

Whether you wish to reinterpret one of our signature pieces or create something entirely new, our custom service is built around you.

We specialize in rings — engagement, wedding, and personal milestones, but also create necklaces, bracelets, and meaningful one-of-a-kind pieces.

Each design begins with a story, and is crafted to be worn and treasured for generations.

Investment & scope

Our custom pieces typically begin from 30 000 NOK / 3 000 EUR / 3 000 USD.

Final investment depends on the chosen design, gemstone, and level of detail.

We will guide you thoughtfully within your desired budget — balancing beauty, rarity, and longevity.

The process

1. A quiet beginning

We start with an informal consultation — in our Oslo showroom or virtually — where we get to know you, your ideas, and what the piece should represent.

You are welcome to ask questions, explore possibilities, and take your time. There is no obligation at this stage, only a chance to understand what feels right for you.

2. Design & direction

Together, we explore shapes, proportions, metals, and references to define your piece, always guided within your desired budget.

Once we have aligned on the overall direction, a design deposit of 5 000 NOK is placed. This allows us to develop detailed sketches or CADs and begin sourcing gemstones. The deposit is later deducted from the final price.

3. Sourcing your gemstone

With the design direction in place, we begin sourcing gemstones tailored to your vision and budget — from vivid sapphires to refined lab-grown diamonds.

We take the time needed to find the right gemstone — this is never rushed. Browse our rare gemstones

4. Quotation & approval

Once the design and gemstone are selected, you will receive a complete quotation.

This includes all elements — design, gemstone, craftsmanship, certification, packaging, and fully insured shipping. There are no hidden costs.

Production begins only once everything is fully approved by you.

5. Crafting your piece

Your piece is handcrafted by our jewelers with precision and care.

Production typically takes 6–8 weeks, depending on complexity.

If you have a specific date in mind, we recommend sharing this early in the process.

6. Completion

Once your custom piece is ready, we will notify you to arrange delivery or showroom pickup.

We ship fully insured worldwide, and your piece remains our responsibility until it safely reaches you.

Your piece is presented in our signature jewelry walnut box — handcrafted in warm wood, designed to hold both the jewelry and the moment it becomes part of your story.
