It takes so much courage to break the silence, to openly speak out about severe mental health issues, to raise concerns about systemic racism, and to break free from an environment that doesn't support you.

The world needs more powerful women like Meghan. We love her (and Harry) for opening up, inspiring others to do the same.

In the interview with Oprah, Meghan said:

Women don't need to find their voice. They need to feel empowered to use it and people need to be encouraged to listen.

In addition to being a role model for girls and women urging us to use our voice, Meghan is also one of our favorite style icons. She's elegant and not afraid to make bold statements with her outfits.

Did you see the gorgeous black silk Armani dress she wore in the interview with Oprah? It featured a lotus flower over her right shoulder.

The lotus flower represents rebirth. It emerges from murky waters and rises above the surface perfectly clean and beautiful. It symbolizes our ability to come from a place of darkness and suffering into the light.
