Meet our signature design featuring a bezel setting with a whopping 1,87 carat natural baby blue aquamarine.
A bezel setting is a solid setting that wraps around the entire circumference of the gemstone. It not only highlights the aquamarine's shape, but holds it in place. Because the bezel completely surrounds the aquamarine, it is considered the most secure setting of all.
Those who choose this ring do so for its timeless elegance, but added security is one more reason to love this style.

About the design
The bezel setting is characterized by a ring of metal that holds the ring’s gemstone in place. This encasing of metal slightly overlaps the edges of the stone, which helps keep it safe. This setting is deeply rooted in jewelry history, and it’s a style you’ll often spot in antique and vintage jewelry.
We have chosen to spice up this classic design with an open setting (seen from the side) - ensuring that lots of light shines through and emphasizes the gorgeous gemstone. The design actually creates an illusion that the stone is larger than it actually is. It also appears chunkier compared to its counterpart - our classic Nangi rings featuring prong settings that expose the gemstones more. In this design, the gemstone is protected better and snagging is less likely to occur. Moreover, the tight band of metal is less likely to attract dirt. This makes rings set in this design very easy to clean and maintain.
Aquamarine
Aquamarine is best known for its breathtaking range of blue colors and belongs to the same family as emerald (beryl). The name derives from the Latin expression for seawater. Aquamarine is colored by trace amounts of iron that find their way into the crystal structure. Aquamarine possesses a durable hardness (7.5-8 on the Mohs scale), which qualifies it for any kind of jewelry.
Aquamarine is the birthstone of March, and has long been a symbol of youth, health and hope. The gemstone is said to calm waves and keep sailors safe at sea. Aquamarine is thought to enhance the happiness of marriages. It has been said that the mineral gives the wearer protection against foes in battle or litigation. It makes the wearer unconquerable and amiable, and also quickens the intellect. Aquamarine is also known for releasing fear, calming nerves, and bringing mental clarity.
