Forest Glow Toi Et Moi - two gemstones, two worlds — brought together in a timeless Toi et Moi design. The natural green tourmaline reflects the depth of ancient forests, shifting between rich green and teal undertones with every movement. Beside it, the rainbow moonstone glows with an ethereal light, casting subtle flashes of blue and iridescent color, like moonlight captured in stone.
The design tells a story of balance and attraction — earth meeting sky, grounded strength paired with luminous softness. It is a piece that feels both bold and poetic, a celebration of contrasts in harmony.
At its heart, the ring carries a 0,71 carat oval-cut natural green tourmaline of excellent quality, alongside a 0,64 carat pear-cut rainbow moonstone with captivating iridescence. Both are set with Nangi’s signature pointy prongs, designed to let light flow freely through the stones.
Handcrafted in pure yellow gold, the rounded band provides a refined and timeless frame. Together, the gemstones create a one-of-a-kind Toi et Moi ring that symbolizes union, contrast, and the glow found when two worlds meet.
Perfect as a unique engagement ring or a bold personal statement, this is a one-off creation — no one else will ever have the same.

Tourmaline
The tourmaline is highly sought after because it combines good hardness (7 to 7.5 on the Mohs scale) with excellent durability. It has one of the widest color ranges of any gem. Tourmaline’s colors have many different causes. It’s generally agreed that traces of iron, and possibly titanium, induce green and blue colors. Manganese produces reds and pinks, and possibly yellows. Some pink and yellow tourmalines might owe their hues to color centers caused by radiation, which can be natural or laboratory-induced.
The name tourmaline comes from the Sinhalese term “Turmali,” which was the name given to all colored crystals on the island of Sri Lanka back in the days. This all inclusive name indicates the inability of ancient gem dealers to differentiate tourmaline from other stones. In fact, at one time in history, pink and red tourmaline were thought to be rubies. Pink tourmaline tends to be pinker in color than ruby. However, their similarities in appearance are so strong that the stones in the Russian crown jewels believed to be rubies for centuries, are now thought to be tourmalines. Tourmaline was in fact also confused with emerald for 300 years! The stone was first discovered by Dutch traders off the West Coast of Italy in the late 1600's or early 1700's.
Tourmaline is the birthstone of October, and is believed to reflect kindness, tolerance and femininity. Tourmalines are also believed to be useful in relaxing the body and the mind, and to help in the treatment of many different diseases such as anxiety, blood poisoning, arthritis, and heart disease.
Moon Magic
A luminous ode to intuition, mystery, and feminine energy
The Moon Magic is inspired by the quiet pull of the moon and Sri Lanka’s starlit nights – where light and shadow dance in perfect harmony. At the heart of this collection is the moonstone, treasured for its ethereal glow and spiritual resonance. Like moonlight captured in gemstone form, each piece evokes softness, clarity, and inner knowing.
This collection is a celebration of light from within. It features moonstones and rainbow moonstones – gemstones with a soft, shifting shimmer that reveals itself gently, never all at once. Their glow is intimate and dreamlike, like intuition made visible.
June’s birthstone, the moonstone, carries deep symbolic meaning – often associated with new beginnings, emotional clarity, and feminine energy. It makes every piece in this collection a meaningful gift or personal talisman.
Designs in Moon Magic flow with organic lines and celestial curves. Some echo crescent moons, others feel as if they’ve been dreamt into existence. Each ring is made to be felt as much as seen – light, soft, and deeply symbolic.
Crafted in pure gold, the pieces let the moonstone breathe – often set open or slightly raised, so its shimmer can catch even the gentlest light. The result is a collection that feels weightless yet grounding, delicate yet powerful.
Moon Magic is for those who move by instinct, dream with their eyes open, and find strength in softness. A tribute to the feminine, the intuitive, and the unseen – and a reminder that your glow doesn’t need to shout to shine.
Toi et Moi
The history of the two-stone ring — known as Toi et Moi — is both rich and romantic.
Its origins trace back to the 18th century, when Napoleon Bonaparte proposed to his beloved Joséphine with a ring set with two pear-shaped gemstones: one blue sapphire and one white diamond, delicately set in gold.
Their love story defied convention. Joséphine was a widow with two children and six years Napoleon’s senior — circumstances that led his family to strongly oppose the match. Yet, after just two weeks of engagement, the couple married in 1796. Days later, Napoleon departed to lead the French army in their victorious campaign in Italy.
He was crowned Emperor of France in 1804, Joséphine became his Empress, and although they later divorced due to her inability to bear more children, they are said to have remained deeply devoted to one another.
In 2013, Joséphine’s iconic Toi et Moi ring made headlines when it sold at auction in France for nearly $1 million — a testament to both its historical significance and emotional legacy.
Today, the Toi et Moi ring is once again capturing hearts. The two gemstones, nestled together, symbolize unity — two souls becoming one. Like yin and yang, they represent balance, duality, and connection.
Whether it’s two diamonds, a sapphire and diamond, an emerald and diamond, or a pearl paired with a diamond — the combination adds depth and meaning, making the ring feel deeply personal, authentic, and utterly timeless.
